New Moon Solar Eclipse
New Moon Solar Eclipse: A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, entirely or partially obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun.
This alignment occurs during a new moon, indicating that the Moon is closest to the Earth’s orbital plane. In a total eclipse, the Moon completely occludes the Sun’s disc.
In partial and annular eclipses, the Sun is only partially obscured.
If the Moon stood in a perfectly circular orbit and the same orbital plane as the Earth, total solar eclipses would occur with each new moon.
Because the Moon’s orbit is tilted relative to Earth’s orbit, its shadow usually misses Earth.
Solar (and lunar) eclipses occur only during eclipse seasons, resulting in the least of two and a maximum of five solar eclipses per year, of which no more than two can be in total.
Total eclipses are less common because they require a more precise alignment between the Sun and Moon and because the Moon’s apparent size in the sky is sometimes too small to obscure the Sun completely.
On average, a total solar eclipse occurs at a given location on Earth every 360 to 410 years.
What did the new Moon solar eclipse mean?
- An eclipse of the Sun is a supercharged new moon.
- It carries all the power and potential of a new Moon while allowing us to step away from frequencies that impede the manifestation of our highest intentions.
- A solar eclipse resembles a full moon in many ways. It lets us let go of habits, behaviors, and emotions that prevent us from manifesting our goals.
- The gift of a solar eclipse is that it permits this release while simultaneously attracting the energy necessary
- The veil between the conscious and subconscious mind is fragile during a solar eclipse.
- It is a chance to investigate your shadows, fears, and deepest desires. We frequently do not know what we truly desire in life.
- Our subconscious may redirect us directly or indirectly if we have an idea.
- When we least expect it, our shadows can also appear and sabotage our efforts to manifest our visions.
When, where, and how to view them?
- On October 25, 2022, portions of Europe, western Asia, and north-eastern Africa will be able to detect a partial solar eclipse.
- The next totality will occur during a hybrid solar eclipse on April 8, 2023. These extremely rare solar eclipses combine an annular eclipse and a total eclipse.
- During the event, a “ring of fire” will be visible for a few seconds in the Indian and Pacific oceans, with totality occurring in Exmouth, Western Australia (for up to one minute), Timor-
- Leste (1 minute 14 seconds), and West Papua (1 minute 9 seconds).
- The next total solar eclipse will occur on April 8, 2024, and the path of totality will cross Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Carter proceeded.
